Happy July 4th!
We spend the 4th in Grace with Deardens and Kenny's family, and three of Karen's girls. We had a great time going to the parade in Soda, playing at the geiser, and doing a few illegal fireworks at mom and dad's house. While at the geiser, the wind shifted and Mindy, Mom, Zack, and I got stuck against a fence with our backs to a wall of water. I was trying to keep Zack from getting soaked and all three of us were so caught off guard that we didn't think to try to run out of the shower. The men all laughed at us. Rude. Fireworks in Grace were fun. Cadence preferred watching from the couch, inside the t.v. room, behind one set of glass doors and a window. She was a little nervous of Grandpa's pyrotechnics. I think we all were (except for Kenny), but she was still little enough to admit it.
